Book early, as the National Day rehearsals (see below) may increase demand!
Traffic Alerts & National Day Rehearsals
Since Twilight: Flea & Feast is happening from July 25–27, 2025, you’ll want to plan your trip with Singapore’s National Day Parade (NDP) rehearsals in mind. These rehearsals, typically held in July and August at the Padang, can cause road closures and traffic disruptions in the area. Here’s what to know:
- Road Closures: Expect partial closures around Marina Bay, including Raffles Boulevard, Temasek Avenue, and Bayfront Avenue, especially on Saturday evenings (July 26). Check the official NDP website or Land Transport Authority (LTA) for real-time updates closer to the date.
- Public Transport: MRT stations like Esplanade and Promenade may be busier due to NDP crowds. Plan to arrive early to avoid delays.
- Other Major Events: Singapore’s 60th National Day is on August 9, 2025, so rehearsals will be in full swing. Additionally, COMEX 2025 (a major tech show) is scheduled for August 28–31 at Suntec, but it shouldn’t overlap with Twilight. Still, the Marina Bay area will be bustling, so public transport is your best bet.
- Travel Tip: Avoid driving near Marina Bay in the late afternoon/evening on July 26. Use MRT or arrive before noon to beat the crowds.
