Title: Founder – Editor

Passionate content creator, editor, and digital curator behind Sahafiun.com; a vibrant platform that blends lifestyle, technology, arts, culture, and insightful commentary tailored especially for Muslim readers worldwide.

With a strong foundation in digital media and online publishing, I draw from years of hands-on experience building and managing web platforms, including my personal site mhisham.org and contributions to The Rojak Place. This journey has involved curating reactions, in-depth reviews, and community-driven stories, always with an emphasis on informative, authentic, and engaging content.

My work sits at the intersection of content strategy and technology: from leveraging content management systems and digital tools to shape user experiences, to staying ahead of trends in tech, social media, and online storytelling. I’ve honed skills in platform development, content optimization, audience engagement analytics, and integrating multimedia elements to create meaningful connections with readers.

Whether exploring emerging technologies, reviewing gadgets and apps, or highlighting cultural intersections with the digital world, I aim to deliver value-driven insights that inform, inspire, and spark discussion.

With all these experiences informing the direction of Sahafiun.com, the platform remains open and welcoming to everyone; at the same time, it is thoughtfully curated with Muslim readers in mind. This means the content focuses on topics and products that align with positive, ethical, and halal-compatible values, naturally excluding areas such as gambling, alcohol, or non-halal food and lifestyle offerings.

Whether you’re here for tech insights, cultural reflections, lifestyle inspiration, or community stories, there’s a place for you. I’m always open to press releases, collaborations, guest contributions, or conversations on tech, culture, faith, and digital creativity; feel free to reach out at [email protected].

Introduction to Our Projects

At Sahafiun, our mission is to build digital tools that serve meaningful needs: supporting faith, community, creativity, and everyday practicality. Each project below represents a step toward that goal, from connecting the global Muslim community to empowering content discovery.

UmmahEvents

Current Status: Open Beta
Roadmap: UmmahEvents Product Roadmap (Public Summary)

UmmahEvents is an Islamic events aggregator that is building a complete event management platform for the Muslim community. Currently in a open beta, it operates as a discovery‑only site where each event links to an external registration page.

The public roadmap outlines a phased approach to transforming UmmahEvents into a full‑featured platform. The plan is to introduce free native registration and attendee management in Phase 1, followed by on‑site check‑ins and QR code validation in Phase 2. Phase 3 will introduce paid ticketing first for admins only, while Phase 4 will add paid promotional features: boosted listings, email blasts, and printed materials. Phase 5 will complete the infrastructure with advanced analytics and organiser payouts via Stripe Connect.

It was built in a single afternoon to solve a personal problem, and it remains a lightweight, useful utility for content creators, students, or anyone who wants to quickly focus on the most relevant parts of a longer recording.
