As a key member of the executive leadership team, Beuchelt will oversee a global team of IT, security, and compliance professionals. His responsibilities will encompass a wide range of areas, including:
- Leading Corporate IT Infrastructure: This includes overseeing help desk operations, server and network management, and ensuring the smooth and secure functioning of all internal IT systems.
- Driving Security Strategy: Beuchelt will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive security strategy that proactively addresses emerging threats and ensures compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Advancing Cybersecurity Research: He will play a crucial role in expanding the impact of Acronis’ Threat Research Unit (TRU) by supporting new research initiatives, developing insightful reports, and disseminating valuable threat intelligence to the broader cybersecurity community.
