Inaugural Singapore Data Festival 2026 Set to Shape the Future of Data and AI
Singapore is prepared to host the first-ever Singapore Data Festival (SDF) from 20 to 24 July 2026 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands. This landmark event will bring together over 2000 data and AI leaders to discuss how data is shared, governed, and valued in the modern digital economy.
Organised by the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) and the Infocomm Media and Development Authority (IMDA), the festival evolves from the former Personal Data Protection (PDP) Week. This change reflects the need to empower companies to use personal data responsibly while generating business value in an era of rapid AI adoption.
Key Focus Areas for a Responsible Data Economy
The Singapore Data Festival is specifically designed for data professionals and business leaders. The programme focuses on three essential pillars to help organisations navigate today’s data landscape safely:

- Innovation through technology: Equipping companies to use privacy enhancing technologies (PETs) to innovate while safeguarding personal data.
- Digital responsibility: Normalising ethical practices during a period of fast-moving, AI-enabled technological advancement.
