Singapore’s Newly Opened Rail Corridor North Offers Accessible, and Scenic Walks for Seniors

Singapore’s Rail Corridor North was opened in early February, a 21km stretch of continuous connectivity from Kranji to Spooner Road. With more than 30 access paths, including 23 barrier-free options, the corridor is now accessible even for wheelchair users.

To celebrate the opening of this scenic walkway, organizers of the World Ageing Festival 2023, Ageing Asia, are offering 10 complimentary walk passes for first-time senior participants. The event will take place on March 10, Friday, from 7:15 AM to 10:00 AM.

Interested participants can sign up for the walk by clicking the provided button. A lucky draw will determine the 10 recipients of the complimentary walk passes. The walk will include warm-up stretches, breathing exercises, cool-down stretches, and ample opportunities for fun, laughter, and memorable photos.

Seniors selected for the event will receive a confirmation email by March 3, Friday. This event provides an excellent opportunity for seniors to explore the newly opened Rail Corridor North and enjoy its scenic beauty.
