HONOR Unveils Groundbreaking AI Innovations at MWC 2026: Robot Phone, Humanoid Robot, and Magic V6

At Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2026, HONOR took a bold leap forward in its vision for human-centric AI, unveiling a trio of groundbreaking announcements that blend embodied intelligence, cutting-edge hardware, and seamless ecosystem integration.

Under the banner of its ALPHA PLAN, HONOR showcased three interconnected pillars — Alpha Phone, Alpha Store, and Alpha Lab — all centered on advancing Augmented Human Intelligence (AHI). CEO James Li emphasized this direction, stating: “With human-centric as our lighthouse, we navigate the growth of AI through the two beams of IQ and EQ, bringing three forms of intelligence together. We are exploring the new paradigm of AI devices with Alpha Phone; hosting the new paradigm of AI ecosystem with Alpha Store; and building the new paradigm of a silicon-carbon civilization with Alpha Lab.”

Here are the highlights from HONOR’s MWC 2026 showcase.

Robot Phone: A New Species of Smartphone

The star of the show was the Robot Phone, a conceptual device that redefines what a smartphone can be by adding physical motion and embodied AI.

This isn’t just another phone with a fancy camera; it’s engineered with robot-grade capabilities, including a self-developed ultra-compact micro motor and a 4DoF (degrees of freedom) gimbal system packed into a slim form factor. The result? A three-axis stabilized camera that moves fluidly, tracks subjects intelligently, and even performs expressive gestures.

Imagine video calls where the phone follows you around the room, nods during conversation, shakes its “head” in disagreement, or dances to your music playlist. Features like Super Steady Video, AI Object Tracking, and AI SpinShot (with 90° and 180° cinematic rotations) turn everyday capture into professional-grade storytelling, powered by a 200MP sensor.

HONOR has essentially given future smartphones “hands and feet,” merging digital smarts with physical expressiveness for more natural, lifelike interactions.

Humanoid Robot: From Phone to Physical Companion

HONOR didn’t stop at phones; it debuted its first humanoid robot, expanding into consumer robotics with a focus on real-world scenarios: shopping assistance, workplace inspections, and — most intriguingly — supportive companionship.

Drawing on years of smartphone user insights, HONOR aims for seamless recognition and personalization across devices. This robot can understand needs from the first interaction, offering physical help where digital AI falls short.

Combined with the Robot Phone, these unveilings bridge the digital-physical divide, hinting at a future where AI truly lives alongside us.

Magic V6 and Expanding Ecosystem

Anchoring the practical side, HONOR launched the Magic V6, its most refined foldable yet. It features breakthrough silicon-carbon battery tech for exceptional endurance in a slim profile, advanced displays, and AI-driven productivity tools.

Complementing this are the MagicPad 4 tablet and MagicBook Pro 14 laptop, rounding out an intelligent hardware lineup designed around real human needs.

HONOR’s MWC 2026 reveals signal more than product launches; they point to an ambitious roadmap where AI evolves from passive assistant to active, embodied partner. While the Robot Phone and humanoid remain forward-looking concepts, they set an exciting tone for what’s next in mobile and robotics.
