This prestigious event has been elevated to become part of the HSBC BWF World Tour Super 750 series, joining the ranks of five other major tournaments hosted by badminton powerhouse nations, including India, Japan, Denmark, France, and China.

This marks the first time Singapore has hosted a badminton tournament of such magnitude, and participating players can look forward to increased ranking points and prize money.

The HSBC BWF World Tour Super 750 series was established in 2018 as part of the Badminton World Federation’s international badminton tournament calendar restructuring. The series is one of the top tiers of the BWF World Tour, with higher ranking points and larger prize pools than lower-tier events.

The Singapore Badminton Open 2023 promises to be an exciting event, with the world’s top 10 players expected to grace the court at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Fans of the sport should mark their calendars for June 6-11, 2023, and get ready to witness some of the best badminton action in the world.
